Sanjeevan - Healthy Soul Healthy Minds
The first step towards a healthy mind & body is – Awareness, which is what Sanjeevan, the health wing of CGWWA predominantly does. The reaching out is done primarily by organizing lectures on important topics such as Health, Hygiene & Nutrition, creating awareness on the potentially fatal AIDS & Cancer detection, coordinating drives on Blood donation and awareness camps for mothers on Health care. Yoga & meditation classes form the key drivers for promoting good mental health. Sanjeevan also facilitates counselling for those in need to promote and further its aim of a healthy mind.
Activities undertaken by Sanjeevan are as Follows : -

Sanjeevan (Health) team conducted a lecture on “Discover True Wellness through Ayurveda” on 29th Jan 2025.
On 17th Feb 2025 a wellness walk was organised at Lodhi Garden, New Delhi. The walk aimed at healthy body, healthy mind & amidst beauty of lush green environment.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, on 05th Mar 2025 Team Sanjeevan (Health) conducted a Seminar cum-Workshop for Tatrakshika’s ”Overcoming stress, strengthening family bonds, parenting tips and building resilience for secure future” by Veernari Shakti Resettlement Foundation (VSRF).
On the Occasion of Women’s Day, the Health committee organized a full body checkup camp, exclusively for ladies on 5th Mar 25.
A dental Camp organised by Team Sanjeevan (Health) on 22nd Feb 25.
On 13th Mar 25 a lecture session was organized on Mental Health and Stress management by Surg Lt Prashant.
Women wellness camp was conducted on 12th Jan 25. A total of approximate 90 women attended and took benefit of the programme.
Team Sanjeevan, in association with Kauvery Hospital, Chennai organised a multi-specialty Camp and cancer screening for Tatrakshikas on 8th Mar 25 at CGRA Meenambakkam.

Health activity was conducted by Medway hospitals, Kakinada on 23rd Mar 25.
Literacy Committee organized a competition for CG children organised a lecture on “Mental Health in Women” on 25th Jan 25.
Health committee organized a lecture on “Life Saving Skills & First Aid lecture at 1015 hrs on 4 th & 8 th Feb 25 respectively.
A Medical camp (complete blood check up and random blood sugar)was organized on 07 th Mar 25.
A Medical Lecture organised by Surg Lt Cdr R Ashwin on 11th Feb 25.
On 18 March 2025, a session on Effective Teenage Parenting was organized as part of its welfare initiatives.
Interaction session and lecture on healthy diet and life style was organized for ladies of SOs and EPs at Azadhind Nagar on 11th Feb 25.
On 30th Jan 25 a health lecture was given by Dr. Parat Nagraj to Tatrakshikas about the value of homeopathy in daily life.
On 07 Mar 25 from 1000 to 1300 a Retinal (EYE) Examination Camp by Tej Eye Centre held at Unit MI room.
Workshop on Physical and Mental Health Management. Sanjeevan team organized a significant on 31 Jan 25.
A medical lecture on “Basic Life Support (BLS)” conducted by Station Medical Officer on 24th Jan 25.
As a part of International Womens’ Day celebration, a health camp was organized for CGWWA members at the Station MI Room on 11th Mar 25.
A Health lecture on First Aid and CPR imparted by the Station Medical Officer for CGWWA members and children on 11th Feb 2025.
A wellness /medical camp aimed at the early diagnosis and treatment of lifestyle diseases was organized for all CG ladies on 8th March 2025.
A ‘Health and Wellness Camp’ was organized on 12th Mar 2025.
CGWWA Veraval organised a “Pediatric Lecture on Monitoring Growth of Children” on17th Jan 25.
Team Sanjeevan conducted Presentation on Breast Cancer Early Detection and Management on 13th January 2025. Lecture was given by Dr. Sheetal Anoop. She explained about the causes, signs and symptoms and early detection in detail along with Self Breast Examination method.
A Mega Health Camp was organised by Team Sanjeevan (West) on 19th Feb 2025.
On 24thJan 2025, CGWWA Karnataka, and AJ Hospital Dental Care successfully organised free dental checkup camp. Around 70 ladies including children received check-up and treatment.
Team Sanjeevan organised a health checkup camp for ladies on 17thMar 2025 at CGWWA Centre. Doctors from Namma Clinic. General tests like BP, sugarand other basic health test were carried out and required medicines were provided.
Health Camp organised on 15thApr 2025 for awareness of Pre & Post Pregnancy care for mother and post-menopausal health by AJ Hospital Gynecologist Dr. Ankitha Shetty. The camp witnessed huge participation from ladies.
Dental Camp was conducted for members and families on 4thFeb 25, in co-ordination with Sree Anjaneya Institute of Dental science, Calicut. President Tatrakshika Beypore inaugurated the event.
On 13thJan 25 Team health organised an activity on physiotherapy which was conducted by Mrs. Nalita physiotherapist health care provider at the Welfare Centre.
