Suruchi - Enhancing Skills to Keep Up with Times

The aim of Suruchi (Welfare) is to bring about financial independence and confidence in ladies by teaching them various skills. Welfare being the focal point for CGWWA, various steps have been taken to bring out as well as inculcate various skills in the ladies. Regular classes and demonstrations such as painting, tailoring, embroidery, beautician, etc. are conducted at CGWWA welfare centres|

Activities Undertaken by Suruchi are as Follows: -

Team Suruchi (Welfare) organized a 05 days workshop from 03rd - 07th Feb 2025 on “Block Printing” 08 ladies along with Vice President Tatrakshika participated in the workshop.

Suruchi (welfare) team organized a demonstration on the topic “Beat the heat with a cool treat” by Mrs Sunita Bohra, Mrs Pawana Kapoor, Mrs Reshma Raghunath, Mrs Pranali Prashant Getme and Mrs Mousumi Das on 15th Apr 25. The age-old traditional recipes such as alkaline water preparation, Kerala Rice Kanji, refreshing regional summer drinks, Pahadi Raita and handmade Bengal fan were demonstrated.

Welfare committee organized a lecture on Harmony in Relationship delivered by Sister Sarmistha on 24th Jan 25. This session focused on fostering understanding mutual respect and emotional wellbeing in personal and social relationship. Sister shared valuable guidance on effective communication, trust building and conflict resolutions.
