Sanskar - Adding Values to Lives

Sanskar focusses on nurturing the 'unique potential' in every child – a budding member of the society. It does so organizing regular painting, quiz, recitation & essay writing competitions, which assist children to realize their exceptional capabilities in a methodical, synergetic & self- paced manner. In most of the Coast Guard Stations, a play school is generally run by CGWWA. School in some stations are till kindergarten level. Further, CGWWA essentially forms part of the management committee of all the schools run by Coast Guard.

On 10th Jan 2025 CGWWA virtual meeting was held at CGHQ with all CGKG school Oi/C and Sanskar coordinators.

Annual Sports day of CGKG was celebrated on 12 Jan 24.

Coast Guard Kindergarten celebrated its Graduation Day at the Cowlawn Hall on 16 Mar 24.

Children’s Day was celebrated at Mandapam on14th Nov 24.

Christmas Day was celebrated at Mandapam on 19th Dec 24.

On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, CGKG Paradip celebrated the Joy of Flying High with a kite making activity.

On 26th January 2025, CGKG Paradip celebrated Republic Day with great patriotic fervor. The school was decorated with tricolor decorative items and the flag hoisting ceremony was done.

On the occasion of Republic Day the Paradeep Port Authority organised the Inter School Dance competition where the kids of CGKG participated and got awarded for their excellent performance by the organisation.

The Indian Coast Guard Day celebrated at CGKG Paradip in which the kids shared their thoughts and rhymes dedicated to Indian Coast Guard. Further, the teacher educated the kids regarding the role and importance of the Coast Guard in serving our nation.

On the occasion of Vasant Panchami, the kids of CGKG Paradip sought the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for knowledge, creativity, and academic success.

A drawing competition was held at CGKG, Paradip on 03 February 2025, where all the kids participated enthusiastically, showcasing their artistic talents through drawings.

Picnics are a break from daily routine and allow students to explore the outer world. The kids were taken to the Smruti Udyan, Paradip, where kids enjoyed their day playing games and enjoying food.

A rainbow day celebration was held at CGKG Paradip on 21st February 2025 where all the kids participated in a vibrant day focused on color recognition, creativity, and joyful engagement, with activities including colorful attire and rainbow-themed crafts.

On 7th March 2025 the CGKG Paradip Celebrated its Annual Graduation Day.

This day celebrated to make the little kids aware about colours on 10th Jan 25. Colour recognition was done by displaying pink-purple objects and an art and craft activity was also done. They made a flower using straw and paper and took it as takeaway.

A field trip arranged on 13th Jan 25, where UKG students along with class teacher, Headmistress and two aayas went to see Hovercraft Maintenance Unit.

Road safety tips were taught to the kids as a part of learning activity on 15th Jan 2025.

Republic day celebration done on 24 Jan 25.

Basanta Panchami celebrated on 3rd Feb 25.

Grey day celebrated on 7th Feb 25 at CGKG where kids came dressed in grey outfit. As activity they decorated a rat with grey color paper, glue and goggle eye.

On 14th Feb 25, kids and teachers of CGKG, Haldia came dressed in vibrant rainbow coloured out fits.

Annual day of CGKG Okha was celebrated on 08 Jan 25. All students from Playgroup to UKG participated and showcased their talents & creativity.

On 15th Jan 25, CGKG, Okha organized kite making activity for students. The teacher introduced the concept of kite making and explained the materials needed.

Republic day celebrated at CGKG Okha where in hoisting of National flag and various cultural activities were held. Sweets were distributed among the children, teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.

Annual Sports day of CGKG Okha was held on 27th Jan 25. The students from playgroup to UKG participated in various sport activities and the event concluded with prize distribution ceremony.

Pink day was celebrated at CGKG Okha on 11th Feb 25 to make children aware about the pink colours which are present in the surroundings.

Purple day was celebrated on 24th Feb 25 at CGKG Okha to familiarise children on the purple colour objects in the surroundings.

President Tatrakshika Mrs. Priya Paramesh alongwith (President Tatrakshika (NW) Mrs Archana Sashi Kumar) visited CGKG Okha on 02nd Mar 25.

Graduation Day was celebrated on 10th Mar 25 at CGKG Okha for UKG students. Graduation Ceremony commenced with the smart tiny tots of UKG dressed in graduation robes and caps walking the stage.

To educate the students about good manners an activity named “Good manners and Bad manners” was organized at CGKG, Vadinar on 10th Jan 25.

Parents Teacher Meeting (PTM) was held on 04th Feb 25 at CGKG, Vadinar. During the meeting, the inputs regarding the progress of students were shared with parents.

Annual day celebrations for CGKG, Vadinar was organized on 18th Feb 25. During the events, the students showcased their talents, skills and abilities through various cultural programs.

Community lunch organized for students of CGKG, Vadinar on 21th Feb 25.

President Tatrakshika Maiden Visit to CGKG Porbandar. Mrs. Priya Paramesh, President Tatrakshika accompanied by Mrs. Archana Sashi Kumar, Regional President Tatrakshika (North West) made her maiden visit to CGKG Porbandar on 3rd March 2025.

Mrs. Archana Sashi kumar, Regional President Tatrakshika (NW) made her maiden visit to CGKG Porbandar on 4th Feb 2025.

CGKG Porbandar conducted "Art and Craft Exhibition" on 13th Jan 2025. It was a great opportunity for young kids to showcase their talent and hard work.

The Annual Sports Day "KIDS-A-THON" was held on 19th February 2025 with great enthusiasm. Students arrived at the venue in their sports uniforms, ready for the event. Parents attended to support their children and students from all classes were encouraged to participate in various sports activities.

Spring season was celebrated on 7th Feb 2025 with a variety of engaging activities.

Annual Day Celebration of CGKG school was organized on 27thFeb 25.

On 16th Feb 25. Children participated and the theme was Global Warming.

As part of CGWWA activity drawing competition conducted for CG children at CGRA on 31st Jan 25.

CGKG School visited Aviary at Moti Daman on 10th Jan 25. The strength of Nursery was 78, LKG 110 and UKG 109 resulting in total of 297 students. Students were excited to see various birds engrossed in various activities like flattering wings in water, ducks bathing in water, various parrots of various colours making chirping sounds, moving in and out of the little, beautiful, creative houses made for them and so on.
